[About IICF Canada]

Together we’re making lasting change possible

To unite and engage the insurance industry in charitable efforts that support children and youth at risk, strengthening resilience in them and their communities across Canada.
Mission
A Canada where children and youth thrive, powered by the generosity of a united insurance industry.
Vision
  • Compassion: We act with empathy and a commitment to improving the lives of children and youth in need.
  • Collaboration: We believe in the power of working together, across companies (including insurers, reinsurers, brokers, solutions providers and more), communities and sectors, to create lasting change.
  • Leadership through service: We enable the insurance industry to lead with generosity, purpose and a sense of shared responsibility.
  • Community impact: We prioritize programs and activities that deliver measurable, meaningful outcomes for the people and places we serve, allowing them to grow, contribute and thrive.
  • Integrity: We are transparent, accountable and mission-driven in all we do.
Values

Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Canada brings the Canadian insurance industry together for collective impact. Through grants and volunteer initiatives, the Foundation supports children and youth at risk, including those facing food insecurity. Through its collaborative model, IICF Canada represents the pulse of the industry’s charitable interests, demonstrating what’s possible when the industry unites for good.

Founded in 2025, IICF Canada is excited to expand its network and make meaningful change, fueled by the generosity of Canada's insurance industry.

[What We Do]

IICF Canada works with industry leaders serving on our Board of Directors and Volunteer Committees to give back to those in need.

We operate two programs to achieve our goals: our Grants Program and Volunteer Program.

✹ Through our Grants Program, we issue grants to registered Canadian charities that support children and youth at risk.

✹ Our Volunteer Program provides platforms for professionals in the insurance industry to deliver hands-on support through a variety of volunteer experiences.
